Collection: Consultations

An Opinion Shop. You bring a decision you have been carrying. I bring reactions, honest criticism, and the questions a skeptical buyer will ask you before you ever meet one.

Hayek's great insight was that the knowledge a society runs on is never held in one place. It is dispersed, particular, and local — known only to the person on the spot. No planner can gather it, and no consultant can either. That is why these sessions are shaped the way they are.

You hold the knowledge of your own situation: the constraints, the history, the thing your co-founder said last week that has been bothering you since. I hold something different — nearly forty years of watching systems succeed and fail across enterprise IT, model-based systems engineering, graph databases, and now Bitcoin-native monetization. Half an hour where those two kinds of knowledge meet is worth more than six weeks of someone billing you to learn what you already know.

You will leave with your own judgment sharpened and a clearer view of the decision in front of you.

How a session works

  • Thirty minutes at $100, or a full hour at $200. Both rates sit well below what this counsel commands elsewhere.
  • Choose your topic below. The cart takes you to my calendar, where you pick a time and settle up.
  • We meet over video. Bring one real question — the best sessions begin with someone who already knows what is troubling them.
  • Payment settles in Bitcoin over Lightning. I built the Tollbooth DPYC™ ecosystem to make that kind of payment ordinary, and I use it here.

Who is weighing in. I am Lonnie VanZandt — Prime Authority of the Tollbooth DPYC™ ecosystem, Neo4j Certified Professional, and an enterprise architect with nearly forty years across AT&T Bell Labs, Lucent, Northrop Grumman, No Magic, CACI, and Intercax. Background and full CV.
