FieldData MCP

FieldData MCP

Read what your own weather station and soil probes actually measured, whether you keep a single backyard station or a string of probes across commercial acreage: FieldData turns them into one instrument panel that answers in the field, at your desk, or inside your AI agent.

It reports the ground you own, as your own instruments saw it.

Have you ever wondered…

…how cold the low corner really got last night? Whether the soil under the new plantings has finally warmed to the point where roots wake up? How many frost hours the orchard has banked this month, or how much rain actually fell on your own field?

FieldData answers questions like these from the station you installed and the probes you buried.

Measured on your own ground

Your station records what actually happened on your land, minute by minute and season after season. FieldData reads those records and puts them to work: the latest readings from every sensor and channel, the full history at whatever resolution the time range allows, and a day-by-day summary of air temperature, frost hours, rainfall and growing degree-days at whatever base temperature your crop requires.

The instruments it reads

FieldData reads ECOWITT stations and sensors through your own ECOWITT account, so a weather station and a few soil probes become questions you can ask in plain language. Every ECOWITT sensor reaches the internet through a gateway, so choose the gateway first.

If your plot has cellular coverage and sun, start with the WittField 4G & Solar Field Weather Station, whose gateway uploads over 4G and runs on its own solar panel. If a building with Wi-Fi and an outlet is within radio range, the Wittboy GW2001 or the GW1206 Soil Moisture Kit will serve. Once a gateway is in place, add WH51 soil moisture and WN34BS soil temperature probes wherever the ground differs, and FieldData reports each one as its own channel.

The whole set is gathered in our Terroir collection.

Better together with Good Earth and The Bee's Knees

Good Earth works out what your ground should do from decades of weather records and the shape of the land: when the frost pocket lets go, which corner can carry blueberries, when the meadow is safe to mow. FieldData tells you what it did do this season. Put the two side by side and the forecast meets the measurement, so you can see whether this year is running ahead of the long-term pattern or behind it.

The same degree-days that time your plantings also time the bloom that native bees depend on. If The Bee's Knees has you thinking about pollinators, FieldData shows you when your own ground actually warmed enough to feed them.

Three ways in

1. In your browser. Visit fielddata.tollbooth-dpyc.com, sign in with your key, and read your stations.

2. In a conversation with an AI assistant. Hand FieldData to Claude or ChatGPT once and then simply ask: “how many frost hours did the orchard see this week?”

3. With your own agent. Connect the address below and it has every tool.

What it costs

Fractions of a penny per reading. You pre-fund a small tranche of satoshis from any Lightning wallet and spend them a question at a time. You are known to the service by a key you keep, and your station credentials travel to it by secure courier.
